>> Hi, I'm Molly Wood and welcome to the Buzz Report, the show about the tech news that everybody is talking about. This week its new Zunes, iPhone rage and not just from me, and flying Elvis's. Let's begin with the gadget of the week. The gadget of the week is the Zune HD. It made a top secret trip to San Francisco this week and our own Donald Bell got the play with it even though we couldn't shoot any video. And see now Donald said that he was like super impressed with this thing like as in Microsoft is saved [bell] impressed. He said it has a beautiful design, HD video playback, the return or EQ, this amazing ability to suck in artist information and recommendations for any song in your collection plus a smoking fast web browser. Of course we just have to take his word for it because I haven't seen it. It's kind of like the lockness monster. Zune HD, mythical Microsoft savior. We'll see. In other buzz this week iPhone backlash intensifies. Last week Apple rejected the Google voice calling and text messaging app from the App Store and as usually they were super secretive and kind of hypocritical about it and bad timing because congress and the FCC are annoyed about carrier exclusivity again and they've been wondering if maybe it stifles competition to have certain, cool phones available only on 1 carrier. So then the FCC sent this big nasty gram to Apple, Google and AT&T wanting to know like what's up with that Google voice rejection and whether maybe AT&T put the screws to Apple to dump the competition off the iPhone. Yikes. Meanwhile, the Google Voice debacle is pushing tech loggers and journalists right over the edge. Tech Crunches Michael Arrington [assumed spelling] said he was leaving the iPhone completely. iPhone app developers are abandoning ship. The Washington Post wrote about how people hat the iPhone now and I also officially broke up with my iPhone [background sound]. I switched from AT&Ts terrible bay area service to T-Mobiles much better bay area service on my new business Betty Blackberry Curve. Yeah. Oh Yeah! It is over! And the party is over for the iPhone [background sound]. With a couple hundred people who were actually invited to the Google voice beta or who live in the bay area and can't stand the AT&T service here and no one else really cares. Seriously don't worry; the iPhone will be just fine without it as long as AT&T gets its act in gear with MMS cause seriously AT&T God! And now for the big buzz of the week. [ Background music ]

>> Big dumb tech stunt. ^M00:02:40 [ Background sounds and music ] ^M00:02:51

>> This week saw the launch of the My Touch 3G, the second Android phone available for T-Mobile and T-Mobile went insane to promote this thing.

>> Please direct your attention to the big screen display as we go live via satellite where some sky divers are about to land. [Applause and cheering] Ladies and Gentlemen T-Mobile is proud to present the official arrival of the My Touch 3G with Google.

>> This is a special city, it's really special and the thing about this phone that we're launching is very special, there's no other phone like it, it's really special.

>> This is officially the most awesome special launch event I've ever been to. I don't understand at all what it has to do with the phone and I'm pretty sure I don't want to buy one but this is so awesome.

>> When he's talking on his T-Mobile it's just sending out the vibrations.

>> Yes people that was a mime handing out chapstick for T-Mobile. A mime, chap stick. But the festival of absurdity did not end there. No check out what RadioShack did this week to try to promote its rebranding from RadioShack to the Shack. ^M00:04:01 [ Music ] ^M00:04:06

>> Come on you have to admit, nothing thrills like a good old fashioned publicity stunt and a really big lap top. Thanks for all the laughs guys and that's the Buzz Report for this week everyone, I'm Molly Wood and thank you for watching. ^M00:04:20 [ Music ] ^M00:04:24

>> Hey Molly, can I borrow you're My Touch?

>> Yeah here you go.

>> Oh.

>> Yep that's it.

>> Thanks.
