Zombie Lane is FarmVille meets 'The Walking Dead' Video Transcript
What's up folks? I'm Jay (Markabibi?) and welcome to Tap That App. The show that's all about tapping apps. So Farmville's pretty popular right? You know what it's missing now? Zombies. You feel me? We'll meet Zombie Lane. It's got a lot of cutesy simulator stuff from Farmville but it also got zombies. So you get to build and take care of your house, plant crops and decorate and then you also get to smack zombies in the face with a shovel or a katana or flaming boxing gloves or you can shoot them with a crossbow or a shotgun or a hunting rifle. The possibilities are endless. When you first start you get to customized your character. You can pick a guy or a girl. Decide what they look like and even choose their clothes. After that you can start fixing up your spot and working on missions. You can buy buildings, crops, weapons or decorations. Whenever you do anything on the game though, it takes a unit of energy but overtime your energy automatically replenishes. This means you'll have to wait once you run out. If you get sick waiting though, you can always buy an energy pack but it will cost you. You can make money by killing zombies, picking fruits or doing pretty much anything. You can also drop some real world cash if you wanna speed things up. The one thing that kinda sucks about Zombie Lane though is that there's no risk in the game. There is no way to die or get hurt which means zombie attacks are really just bothersome more than anything. Still even without the risks, it's totally worth the try. It's fun to build things, unlock items and complete missions and something just feels right about smacking a zombie in the face with a shovel and or katana. Zombie Lane is free and available on Google Play and in the iTune's App Store. I highly suggest you try it. That is it for this week. The rumors are true! "Dead Rising 2" is coming, and this time it will be taking place in a Las Vegas-like setting. However, unlike the previous title, "Dead Rising 2" will be available for Xbox 360 in addition to PlayStation 3 and PC. Be prepared to hack and slack your way through hordes of countless zombies when "Dead Rising 2" releases--hopefully--by the end of 2009.
