ZBoard, the electric skateboard Video Transcript

What's up guys? This is Antuan Goodwin at CNET.com. On the floor is CES 2013 and I've got the Zboard right here. It's an electric motorized skateboard and it is weight-sensing. So, you don't need any sort of external controls. Just put this guy down on the ground, lean forward to go forward, lean back to stop. And of course, like any skateboard, you steer by leaning forward to your left and to your right. There are actually 2 models that you can choose from: the classic and the pro. The difference between those is going to be 2 things: weight and range. The classic's gonna to be about 28 lbs. The pro is 35. So, you're gonna use lithium-ion battery technology to get you 5-10 miles respectively. So, regardless of which one you do, you get a top speed of 70 miles per hour which, probably, not gonna be able to hit here in [unk] but let's take it for a spin.
