>> Intermittent wipers, 1969. Rain sensing wipers, about six -- seven years ago. That's about it in the windshield wiper tech folder. Until now, check this out from Fioravanti. It's a concept of a windshield that is patent-pending, four nano layers. One sheds and repels water. Another one does the same for dust and dirt. A third senses when there's either of the above that need to be cleaned. And a fourth layer, again microscopically provides power to the other three. And once all of the stuff is loosened, these nozzles along the bottom and along the top here blast water and, or air to create turbulence and wash everything away, no wipers needed. Completely new idea for dealing with dirty windshields, backlights, marine glass, train wind screens - you name it. It's not just a car thing. Now, this is obviously not coming to a car near you tomorrow. They will look to seller and license this to probably a high-end maker to start. A little hard to say but, this could be the next and one of the few big things in keeping your glass clean. ^M00:01:17 [ Music ]
