>> It was our pleasure to have a chance today to share with you the next generation of Windows phones, the Windows phone 7 series.

>> Bonnie Cha: Hi I'm Bonnie Cha Senior Editor at CNET.com and we are here at Mobile World Congress here in Barcelona. Just got out of the Microsoft [inaudible] where Pete Vomer and Microsoft introduced Windows Phone 7 series which is their major overhaul of their operating system and it looks nothing like anything we've seen before from Windows Mobile. They only have a couple of demo devices and that swarm back there is one of the devices though it was hard for us to get a hands on look at the device. It has more of a Zuneesk interface and start page has tiles that you can re arrange and they're dynamic so it constantly feeds you information and also give you access to hubs where you can get all your photos, all your media in one place. They also announced that Zune and Xbox Live will be integrated into all Windows Phone 7 series models and they announced partners with all the 4 major carriers particularly AT&T they're really pushing as well as Samsung, HTC, LG and a lot of the OEM manufacturers to bring these phones to the US by the holiday season. We're really looking forward to checking out the Window's phone series. They've made smartphone OS interesting again so looking forward to checking it out.
