>> Hi, I am Jessica Dolcourt from CNET Download.com and today we are taking a first look at Windows Live Search for mobiles. This new version has a brand new voice activation feature that Microsoft has been pushing pretty hard. We'll take a look at that in a sec, but first I'm going to show you what happens when you download the Ap. There are lots of different ways you can get the Ap. My favourite is to just point the mobile browser to wls.life.com, download the link, accept it and it'll show up on your program's list under the Live Search icon. There are a couple of different ways you can start searching. You can begin by typing in your search term or and this the brand new part you can tap 'Speak' and say your search term, "Movie theatres", so I click into movie theatres and there is the theatre I want right on top. I can click it to bring up the details. If I go into the menu I can also save this number to 'contacts', which is really great. Or this is another cool feature; I can SMS the whole detail section to a friend. If I quicken to the maps, it will show all the local selections on the map and if it's not showing the part of the map that I want to see, I can click into menu and if your phone is GPS enabled you can click 'Center on GPS' to get the GPS position. Back on the menu page there are quick launch options that can get you to your information as well. You can browse by categories; you can go straight to the Map, Directions, Traffic, Movies or get Gas prices. For these to work best though you really need to have a specific location in your location box. There are a number of ways that you can enter a location or specific address. You can speak or type the address into the bar. You can choose from a metropolitan location, choose the point on a map. Choose from your contacts or click to get your current GPS location. I am Jessica Dolcourt and this has been Windows Live Search for mobile. ^M00:01:47 [ Music ]
