What's Crave-worthy at E3 2008? Video Transcript

>> Hey, what's up guys. It's Brian Tong with CNET.com. We've got a special edition of Crave for you. We're here on the E3 Show floor. There's a lot of games. So let's just see what we Crave and what we do not Crave. ^M00:00:10 [ Music ] ^M00:00:13

>> Now, I've got this Wii Motion Plus accessory on here. We've got Wii Sports Resort. I'm gonna check this out and see if I Crave or Do Not Crave. Let's do this. ^M00:00:21 [ Music ] ^M00:00:24

>> Alright, it's pretty hot, I was like using this as the accelerator. I would have to say, I Crave this thing. ^M00:00:31 [ Music ] ^M00:00:35

>> Just jamming the RockBand 2. What do you think about it?

>> I've loved Rock Band since the first Rock Band. I'm really looking forward to Rock Band 2. The drums themselves are much improved. If you're into the drums, great bounce, great response. It feels really solid. I'm craving Rock Band 2.

>> DDR was hot like five years ago. Apparently this guy didn't get the message. Do Not Crave. So in this game called PixelJunk, I'm this little creature. You may see I swing from vine to vine to break these little stars. When all that little -- those little icons and the stars falling I basically start into another sat and then grow a whole new vine and I'm essentially trying to go from vine to vine to complete the whole level. I can't do this, I suck. I'm having trouble with this game, but if I get the hang of it, I would definitely say Crave. What we're looking at is PlayStation Home. Tell us a little bit about it.

>> It's a space for gamers to interact, to socialize and also challenge each other, to play each other at games.

>> But is it almost like replacing the menu system as if there was a virtual world.

>> It's another depth to it. So if people wanna carry on just using Play Station that way the [inaudible], that's fine, but we hope that people you know would be intrigued and inticed by the added level of richness which PlayStation Home can give.

>> You can jump in the game, socialize with other people and check out trailers. It looks really cool and it's something that I definitely Crave.

>> Now we're checking out Skate It for the Wii. Can you kind of tell us about it.

>> So you can play with just the remote and the remote becomes your skateboard You're using that to turn -- even using that just to lift it up and do differetn tricks. It's really a simple, easy way to play it. And this was us taking what we knew about skating wanting to share that with the Nintendo audience. Now if you have a balance board you actually get a feeling of skateboarding while you're standing on it. Not just playing with your hands. And it works great. You're steering on it, you're turning, you're doing different tricks and even like owning on it.

>> I have no skills. ^M00:02:34 [ Music ] ^M00:02:38

>> Yo, I'm feeling this game, definitely Crave. Come back next week, we'll be back in the studio. We'll see you guys next time. ^M00:02:44 [ Music ]
