>> Welcome to the 2008 Webware 100.
>> Today we're opening up the voting in the 2008 Webware 100 awards at www.webware.com/100. This is your chance to give a little something back to the people who make the web apps [assumed spelling] that you like the best. So be sure to vote for your favorite apps. There are three hundred finalists in ten categories, which we have selected from an exclusive list of nearly five thousand qualifying nominations. But it is up to you to select the winners, which we'll announce on April 21, the day before the web 2 expo opens here in San Francisco. If you think it might be too hard to pick out just one product in each category, relax this year you can vote for up to three products per category. So in addition to voting for the obvious candidates, you can also vote for the lesser-known products to make sure they get the recognition they deserve. The Webware 100 got more then 480,000 votes in 2007. And this year's lineup of finalists is even stronger, so join the rest of the websphere's [assumed spelling], vote early, vote often, and come back on April 21st, to find out if you picked the winners.
