Vizio XVT3D6SP Video Transcript
-Hi! I'm Sharon Vaknin for cnet.com. I'm here with a first look at the 55-inch model of the Vizio XVT Pro 3D. Last year, Vizio introduced VIA internet services. But this year, it's included VIA Plus on this TV. So any point, you can pull up the search bar and enter a search term or a web address and use a fully functioning Chrome browser. When this TV launches, it will come with Android's Honeycomb. So what we're looking at is actually a really big tablet. So this TV is actually programmed to work with Vizio's tablet and phone. So let's say you started watching a movie on your phone on the train, you can get home, turn on your TV, and pick up where you left off. Pretty cool feature. This television has a 480 Hz refresh rate. It has full array, LED backlighting, so you get better contrast, better blacks, and overall, better picture quality. It also uses passive 3D glasses technology, so the glasses that you were with this television don't use any electrics. They're like the ones that you wear in the theater. Now, because it uses passive 3D technology, you can use Vizio's versus gaming which means that instead of using a split screen for 2-player gaming, each player wears a different set of 3D glasses; one with the left eye and one with the right eye and only sees their player. And to control all the internet services and Google TV, this television comes with a QWERTY Bluetooth remote. Vizio tells us this TV will come out in the summer, but pricing isn't available yet. For cnet.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin.
