Vizio M series HDTVs Video Transcript

-Hey, I'm Donald Bell from CNET.com here at CES 2013. I'm here to show you a first look of the Vizio M series HD TVs. This is a brand new industrial design for Vizio, probably one in more attractive designs we've seen in any Vizio TV yet, very slim bezel around TV with a very subtle little Vizio tag down here at the bottom right corner, and we're looking at the 80-inch HD TV over here, one of the largest sizes we've seen from Vizio, and it's pretty stunning. The image quality is great. This is really Vizio's flagship line here of TVs. You're getting an all LED LCD edge-lit screen with local dimming passive 3D, everything that you would want with Vizio, so you're gonna have great pricing here as well. The available sizes for the M series or as I call them the MTVs are 80 inches, 70, 65, 60, 55, 50, 47, 40, all the way down to 32 inches. The other thing you're getting with Vizio is that they have their Smart TV platform across the M series and their E series TVs, which gives you a connected TV experience. You get your access to apps and all kinds of streaming content. I believe this version also comes with a WiFi enabled remote control. So, you don't have to worry about line of sight issues controlling the TV. You'll actually go to control it from anywhere in your house with the WiFi remote. So, the availability for the M series or the MT TVs is going to be the first quarter. So, we're gonna see this soon. This is a great looking TV, hopefully a great price and great value if you're really looking for something in that 80-inch size. This is probably gonna be one of the most affordable ways to get up to that size. So, there you go those are the Vizio M series TVs from CES 2013, and I'm Donald Bell.

Vizio's 7-inch tablet has nothing special, but the still-unannounced pricing could make all the difference.

The 52-inch Vizio GV52LF has a hard time competing against similarly sized plasmas, although it's a bargain by big-screen LCD standards.

Vizio E2VLE series
