>> Now a blog is a website where you constantly write. The newest entries go to the top and people can comment or link to your entry. It's basically your personal diary or soap box online and it can be whatever you want. Now we know there are tons of blogging services out there that are free, but we're going to focus on a few of them here. Now the first step is easy. Sign up for one. Blogger, WordPress, LiveJournal and TypePad, these are popular blog sites, most of them are free, but some have fees with more advanced features and services. Now you can always blog from your computer and once your blog is ready to go, the next step is setting it up with your specific mobile phone. Now the easiest way is if the blog service offers a native application for your phone. So for example, if you're an iPhone user, WordPress, TypePad and LiveJournal are all free downloads from the apps store. Now here's an example of the WordPress app, I can add text, throw in a picture here, by adding a picture from my collection and then instantly publish an entry just like that. Now if you're on a Windows Mobile, Palm OS or Symbian phone, only TypePad or LiveJournal offer native applications, but you can download them directly from their site. Now for BalckBerry users, TypePad is the only one in this bunch that offers a native app, so it's kind of tricky there, but you're not totally left out. Other services like WordPress and LiveJournal offer mobile versions of the website for you to log in and blog. Now I'm logged here on to LiveJournal's mobile site and you can see it's pretty basic, but you will have access to post your updates directly through it. Now if that's not good enough, you guys can also update your blog via e-mail with all the phones. Now you'll have to be using Blogger or TypePad to do this, but here's an example. I'm in the Blogger website where I can create a custom e-mail to send my post to, so I can update my blog, add picture attachments via e-mail and send away. Blogger also offers the ability to mobile blog via text message or multimedia message as well. So hopefully these helps give you a little guidance of which blog sites to go to and how you can set up your cell phone to be the ultimate mo blogger.
