>> Google Android comes with a decent enough music player, but it's missing a lot of advanced options and has no built-in support for video. I'm Jessica Dolcourt from CNET Download.com. This is a First Look at TuneWiki version 0.9 for Google Android. Now, TuneWiki essentially plays music, it helps you download music videos and some music files and it will also attempt to supply lyrics. So let's go through a little bit at a time. When you first open it up, you're gonna see Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists, you can even shuffle all the music. If you tap open Artists, you can scroll through the lists, tap it again and it will start to play the song. TuneWiki will attempt to find lyrics for the song that you're playing. You can press the TV icon in the same screen and it will search YouTube for music video of that song. There's also a Playlist screen in TuneWiki where you can see and play the Top 50 songs of the day, the week and the month. You can search by artists or by title. The neat thing about that is that many of the music videos do show lyrics and you can even search for them in multiple languages. If you come into the Library afterwards you can see all the songs that you saved listed below. TuneWiki has a social aspect as well. You can click into Music Maps and see who's playing songs near you or even songs all around the world. One word of warning is that the lyrics aren't available for every song and they don't always and correctly especially if there's a spoken intro in front of the music video. There is a way that you can re-sync the lyrics by going into the context menu, but that doesn't always work either. Even though TuneWiki has a few hiccups, it's one of the most ambitious music applications I've seen on any platform and the ability to search and save YouTube videos makes it an especially appealing download for Google Android.
