>> Now, here's the thing. What part of the Chevy Avalanche does Toyota envy? It's kind of a similar idea. Check out the bed on this concept called the A-BAT, Advanced Breakthrough Aerodynamic Truck. Four-foot bed right now in this configuration. Push down the midgate, which also folds the rear seats, six-foot bed, by the way, wide enough for you to play with four-feet. Flip down the tailgate, you get two more feet. Now, you get an eight-footer. This rear section here of the roof can be disengaged and give you vertical storage. Ever go to the nursery and buy a tree in like one of those big pots and you lay it down all the dirt pours out. Here, you'd bring it with the tree, sticking up. Getting horrible wind burn, that's another issue. You've got storage here in the flanks of the rear compartment and there's a slide-out bed or tray envisioned that's underneath the back of the tailgate. So, you can get to your under bed storage without having to lift up everything that's in the bed of the truck. So, all kinds of smart packaging ideas going on in the back here. Now, as you can see by me standing by this, it's not a big old truck, this is actually round four in proportions, so that's part of their light message. Also, it would be a hybrid synergy drive vehicle. Although, there's no specifics on that, but basically think free as power train. Now, let's go inside the cabin. Now, obviously a very futuristic interior, though the gauges are rather traditional. The upholstery looks like absolute wash and wear Gore-Tex. That's kind of cool and on top of the dashboard, a set of solar cells that are envisioned for charging either your portables or a separate battery system in the car. ^M00:01:45 [ Music ]
