Toshiba Thrive 7" Tablet Video Transcript
-Hey, I'm Donald Bell for CNET.com. I'm here showing off the Toshiba Thrive 7-inch. This is the smaller version of the Toshiba Thrive 10-inch version we saw early in the year. Obviously, it has a 7-inch screen instead of a 10-inch screen, but it really has kept a lot of the features that you love about of the original thrive. So, you have you HDMI connection, USB micro SB input instead of the full size SD input that we saw on the thrive. Same great cameras is a 5-megapixel one on the back here, a front facing 2 megapixel camera and you're getting android 3.2 honeycomb on 7-inch screen. So, they're really not compromising on bringing honeycomb to the 7-inch format. Some of the cool stuff around here that I like. There's a textured matte finish on the back here, which gives a nice grip in your hands. It feels good. Imagine if you're using this as an e-Reader, it would feel really good in your hand without getting too slippery or weird feeling. Another great thing about this tablet is the screen technology, instead of kind of compromising on screen resolution, they've got full 1280 x 800 high resolution display on 7-inch screen here. So, you're getting really crisp images, has great viewing angles. So, if you're looking for something smaller that you can watch, video is on or play games, this is gonna be a great tablet for you. We're looking forward to seeing this in early December. Pricing is still to be determined, but we're really excited to see a smaller full featured Honeycomb tablet out there in the market. For CNET.com, I'm Donald Bell.
