Hi, I'm Scott Stein, senior editor at CNET.com and this is the Toshiba satellite E305. Now, every year we've seen a kind of a specially design Toshiba satellite laptop. That's part of Best Buy's exclusive Blue Label program. They have these laptops that had been designed in a special organized way to sort of maximize on new features you may not see in other laptops and last year we really love the Toshiba satellite E205. That was the previous model of this and had a different design they normally see, a really nice aggressive price point and at that time it was one of the first laptops that had Intel Wireless Display, which was that way to beam video on your laptop to a TV with an included Netgear box. Well, the E305 does that again. In fact, it includes the Netgear box in the price that's bundled in at Best Buy for about $899 currently, although the price may fluctuate. That's really great because that box can cost as much as $100. Otherwise, that's a nice bonus in the package. And what Intel Wireless Display does is now allows up to 1080p video. It's still what the problems though with disk space video contact. Now what we do like about the E305? A lot. The design is really nice in streamline compared to most of the satellites that we've seen. It's thinner and has all metal exterior and interior and has a really nice, large click pad here. It has a nice surface to it, has a plenty of space for multitouch gestures. The keyboard feels great. It's also backlit and this is a nice little touch, the volume and other control buttons here. You can just press them and control volume without any annoying beeps or extra function key presses, maybe we're being a little bit anal, but you know what we've seen another laptops and it gets pretty annoying. This also includes a blu-ray drive, which is nice for movie buffs, although it doesn't really get shown off on this 14-inch screen. You can always export it via HDMI and they've also come of 4 gigs of RAM and a 5 gigabyte hard drive, though it's 7200 rpm a little bit faster than normal. Battery life is also really good on this. We got an over 5-hour battery life on our test and that's plenty for everyday use. It's a great overall laptop. Now, it may not have some fancy dedicated graphics for gamers, but we are still able to play a lot of mainstream games using its integrated Intel graphics on its updated updated core i5 processor that comes in here. This does use the second gen Intel core i-series CPU. It's a really nice package for pretty aggressive price and we really like the design tweaks that have been put in here. It's got you covered except if you're a hard core gamer and the blu-ray is a nice touch too. Again, if you're looking for a great overall 14-inch laptop, this is probably one of the better ones to look at right now and of course there's only place that's gonna be available and that is Best Buy, so give it a look if you're there. I'm Scott Stein and this is the Toshiba satellite E305.
