Toshiba 5200 edge-lit LED TV Video Transcript

I am typing coverage from cnet.com and this is a review of the Toshiba L 5200 LCD television. Still looking to spend around a thousand bills for heating and don't want to buy -- plasma and this may be the television to look at. Design wise it's daily on -- shaming with the piano black bezel and a little triangle on -- -- which it might as some sort of adding -- union. As a television aimed at the budget market and there are no real features to speak out including nice spot television or not a 3-D access. So what you get is essentially 120 Hertz if you want to watch -- on your television. But mostly it's the -- -- that -- here. So what we have is very good black levels for the price but of them by Sony and Samsung at an equivalent -- around a thousand or more. The only downside here is color fidelity. While you get not -- images did not very true to -- regional with a bit of green cropping up in the middle there. But we strip prices going for -- a thousand -- all three -- in the ranks the 42 to 46 and 55. This is a very good option if you don't spend that much money. -- -- -- a break from cnet.com.

Toshiba 40L5200U Review

The good: The Toshiba 5200 series has good all-around performance for the price, with relatively good black levels and shadow detail and minimal uniformity issues.

The bad: Color accuracy is a problem, with occasional greenish midtones. The backlight can fluctuate slightly between light and dark material. Unlike some TVs at this price level, there's no 3D or Smart TV.

The bottom line: The bare-bones Toshiba L5200 series offers respectable value for the money with fine picture quality for an edge-lit LED TV.
