>> Many think the next challenge for green carmakers is to give said cars balls. Honda is helping thusly the CRZ concept. It's reminiscent in name and packaging of the original point and shoot pocket rocket, Honda's CRX. Now this one has a very modern hybrid power plant but still in a car that is aimed at the same market sector; low cost, compact, highly tossible. Can a movie called the fast and environmentally sensitive be far behind? Like the new Accord this Honda seems to have taped into a very different audacious design language at Honda. The little glass back pane speaks vintage CRS; cockpit design has drawn strongly from today's Civic but rendered in a more wild series of luminous glass and Plexiglas surfaces. What appears to be a unified interface controller can be seen there in that sinuous console down the middle. Word is Honda has given the CRZ in some form a production go ahead for 2009. ^M00:01:06 [ Music ] ^M00:01:13
