Hey everyone, I'm Sharon Vaknin for CNET. Com with a few built-in Window Streaks that you might have missed, like the Windows Mobility Center. Hit Windows X to call up the Dashboard, where you can quickly change things like volume, power usage and your wireless connection. Adjust the click settings here or click the icons for more advance options. There's also a presentation Mode which disables all Windows notifications while you're doing something like showing a PowerPoint in a meeting, another quick shortcut is Windows and the plus symbol, which let you zoom in on a specific area of the screen. Hit the Windows button and the plus sign to call it up and move your mouse around to navigate. If you're looking for an easy way to take screen shoots that doesn't involved using print screen and pasting it in to Microsoft Paint? Check out the snipping tool, go to the Start Menu and search and search for it there. You can immediately drag, just select an area you want to capture or use one of the other options like a free form window or a full-screen snip. Once you've captured an area, you can immediately save the image or add annotations with the highlighter and pen tools. If you think you'll be using the snipping tool fairly often. You can create a shortcut for it. Right-click it from the Start Menu and select properties, then click the shortcut field and use the keyboard to choose a shortcut like control, alt, S. Hit okay and use your shortcut anytime you need to capture the screen. So, those are a few handy tricks I found in Windows but if you have some suggestions of your own, share them on my Facebook page and visit howto.cnet.com for more videos like this. For CNET, I'm Sharon Vaknin and I'll see you on the interwebs.
