>> Hey, I'm Mark Licea, and we are here at the 2009 Webby Awards. We're about to interview some of the movers and shakers on the red carpet. But CNET TV did win a Peoples Voice Award, so I'm hoping that we can get a one on one exclusive interview with CNET TV star, Molly Wood. I don't think it's gonna happen though.

>> This year we won for failblog.org, which is our, well it's failed, like pictures of failures, and videos, and things like that. Last year we won for I cannot cheeseburger, hence the hat.

>> Dan [inaudible], Don Roost, [phonetic] and I created this series. It's about a therapist who does sessions online, only, you know like web cams for like 3 to 5 minutes.

>> I mean I think a lot of it gets comedy or a lot of original content. Again, it has to do with how much freedom you have. We have so much freedom that the Internet becomes like this unbelievable playground where we get to do whatever we want.

>> This is your second year at the Webbies.

>> It is.

>> So what's changed in a year?

>> I think more people are Twittering, but I can't be official, I haven't looked at the numbers. But I feel like more people are probably Twittering.

>> For Saturday Night Live, and it hit the Internet. It pretty much went; I guess you would say viral.

>> Often mainstream media suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder. And we've got the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. You know, we stay with a story. And that's what it takes to break through the static and really bring about some change.

>> And if you want to [inaudible] kids are doing really good work. The people love, and that they go back to all the time, and that they share with their friends, and that they talk about, you know, and really just sort of reflecting what's going on and, and having a great night to celebrate that. ^M00:01:39 [ music ] ^M00:01:42

>> I'm just having fun right now. And honestly I'm psyched to come to this thing tonight and say thanks to the Internet and all the people that voted.

>> Mark: I see someone I know, Molly Wood. How's it going?

>> Molly: Great.

>> Mark: How does it feel to be at the Webbies?

>> Molly: It feels pretty good. I like being red carpet adjacent right here.

>> Mark: See that.

>>Molly: With real famous people behind me. No, I'm really excited actually. I'm so happy that the CNET TV fans voted for us. Thank you. I got to give a speech and buy a new dress. Love it.

>> Mark: So what does it mean to you to win a Webby Award.

>> Molly: I, you know, to me it's still a pretty big deal. I don't know what people are thinking about the Webbies these days, but I feel like this is our thing. This is our Internet community and, and I think the Webbies are a big deal. I'm thrilled.

>> Mark: Anything you can tell us about your upcoming projects?

>> Molly: You know I'm working on a lot of top secret stuff. I'm gonna do a little something something with Will Farrell in Funny or Die. Oh, I'm sorry, that's Molly Simms, [phonetic] that's totally not me.

>> Mark: What is your acceptance speech?

>> Molly: I can't tell you that. But I know that you can go to YouTube and find out what it is. I'm telling you it's hot.
