>> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. Some annoying applications autoload as soon as you start up your PC. You can usually disable this within the program's preferences, but what about the ones that run in the background, the ones you don't notice running. The ones without a direct option turn off the auto start function. Well, here's what you do. Open the Run dialogue and type MSconfig. Select the start-up tab and you'll see a list of all the apps that launch when your computer boots up. Find the program or programs you don't want started at boot up and uncheck the box. Now before you go off unchecking things willy-nilly, make sure the entries aren't something important like your antivirus or firewall application, but if you're sure you won't miss it uncheck away. Now if you have a tip or trick you wanna share, then e-mail us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And don't forget tekzilla.com, it's "The Place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos. ^M00:00:57
