>> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. Many types of files hold a lot of personal information with metadata tags. For example the EXIF tag used in JPEGs can store information like what camera you've used, the date and the time it was taken and exposure settings. Now if you're uploading these pictures to a site like flickr, you might not want all of those details made public. Luckily, Vista makes it easy to strip out that sensitive information. Right click on a file or files and click Properties. Select the details tabs and you'll see remove properties and personal information. The best part is that this makes a copy of your file or files, so you don't even have to worry about losing that data forever. Once you're done you can upload with confidence. Now if you have a tip or trick that you wanna share then email us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And don't forget tekzilla.com, it's "the place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos. ^M00:00:56
