Tab management could be a bit of a pain on Firefox but I've got the tool that will make your life that much easier it's an add-on called Tree Style Tabs. By displaying your tabs vertically along the side it accomplishes two things one, you could actually see the title of your tab regardless of how many you have open, two, wide-screen monitors can take advantage of the fact that most websites are designed for narrower screens leaving way more room along the sides than there is on the top of bottom.
