>> Hey guys, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. Notepad is an amazing tool, useful with almost any computing task you might come across. Plus, unlike Word or other wizi-wake editors, Notepad doesn't add superfluous characters make it perfect for bloggers. But if update constantly, you might want to keep track of when you've edited. Well, here's a super simple way to do that. Just insert dot log all caps as your first line of text and save the document. Now, anytime you open that file, the time and date will be inserted automatically as an x line. And if you just want the date and times serve on command, just hit F5. Now you have a time stamp perfect for all your future blog and web post. Got a tip for us to pass along to the rest of the TZ crew, e-mail us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And as always, tekzilla.com, it's "the Place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos. ^M00:00:56
