>> Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. If you're running low on storage space in Windows, one of the first things to do is empty your Recycle Bin. Often times, it frees up a whole bunch of space on your hard drive, but why should you let it use so much space to begin with. Why not shrink the maximum amount of space of Recycle Bin uses and avoid this problem altogether, are you following me? Right click on the Recycle Bin and select Properties. If you're using XP, you'll see a slider that adjusts the percent of the drive that the Recycle Bin uses. In Vista you'll have s straightforward number adjusting the number of megabytes. Shrink this number and your Recycle Bin can be just a tiny fly on the wall, unobtrusive and out of the way.
