>> Welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Patrick Norton. Today's Gmail tip comes from Martin [assumed spelling] out in Denmark. He writes in, "I've learned that it's easy to find unread mail in Gmail. Just type in is:unread in the search box to find all your unread mail. It's also possible to find unread mail from a specific person by searching for from:email@domain.com is:unread. Or e-mail@domain.com is something like tekzilla@revision3.com." Thanks Martin. This is going to be so helpful to those of you who don't archive your incoming mail and tend to lose messages in the file up like -- me. To add to that here's some other search parameters you might find useful. Has:attachement returns messages that have attachments, is:chat brings result from a Gchat conversation and is:starred gives you result within your starred messages. Of course those are just a few. You can always get these results by heading over to Gmail's advanced search form, but these shortcuts can come in handy for a quick and dirty search.
