>> Hey everyone. Welcome to Tekzilla Daily. I'm Veronica Belmont. If you're a pilot, work onboard a ship, or serve in the military you probably live under a 24-hour clock. Unfortunately Windows doesn't put the option for turning the clock from the standard 12-hour time into a 24-hour clock in an easy to find place. Common sense would tell you to go through date and time, right? Well, nope. In XP or for Vista users using classic view, you need to open the control panel and go to "regional and language options." Then hit "customize," and then the "time" tab. Now, in the time format field, replace the lowercase "H" with an uppercase "H," or "HH" if you want a leading zero. For the rest of you Vista users go to the control panel and select "clock, language and region." Select "regional and language options," and click the "customize this format" button. You'll find what you're looking for under the "time tab." And there you have it, a 24-hour clock for your 24-hour day. Now, if you have a tip or trick you want to share, then email us at Tekzilla at Revision3.com. And don't forget, tekzilla.com is the place to find more tips, tricks, product views, and how-to's.
