-Long gone are the days of clipping coupons from weekly mailer. Simplify your life and savings by downloading these easy apps. RetailMeNot has a newly developed Smartphone app for both iPhones and android's search by specific store or by category like food or apparel. If you chose to use your coupon in store, you'll simply need hand over your phone to the clerk for a quick scan of the bar code. This app has the potential of saving your serious cash. And the best part, it's free. SnipSnap is also a free app, but only works on iPhones. Scan and photos of your physical coupons so you can keep them all in one place or search other people's scanned coupons and snip them into your file. One thing I like about this app is that it reminds you that you have a coupon for a store once you enter its vicinity and alerts you if one is about expire. Now, that's smart savings.
