A tablet? A laptop? Hands on with the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Video Transcript
-Hey, Rich Brown for CNET. We're here at Lenovo's unveiling of its Windows 8 laptops. Here we have the Yoga 11. This is Lenovo's Windows RT system. This has a preview ability operating system, so we forced them us here to show the hardware works. This has an 11.6 inch screen in this laptop. It is a touchscreen but this is still kinda preliminary in terms of its icons. Now, like the Yoga 13, this is a pretty convertible laptop here. So here's standard mode. Flip it around, you have full Tablet style. You see the screen rotates. Touch pad but no pointer. So again, this is the Windows RT laptop which means that it has an INVIDIA Tegra chip in it. It's not a standard XCT6 Intel chip. Its gonna be $799 when it's available for purchase. Hope it'll get in for review soon. I'm Rich Brown. This is Lenovo's Yoga 11 Windows RT laptop.

The Yoga's 13-inch screen can flip all the way around and fold flat on the back, turning the laptop into a tablet. Or, it can stand up on its front edges like a tent (called Tent mode). It can also be used with the keyboard side down and the screen bent back, becoming almost like a tiny tabletop touch-screen all-in-one (Stand mode).
One of only a handful of 3D laptops, the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d skips active shutter glasses for an inferior technology, but keeps the A-list price.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Review
The good: The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 works as a laptop alternative, thanks to its always-attached keyboard and myriad useful ports, and its physical flexibility provides useful ergonomic options. Its battery charges quickly and depletes slowly. Brightness shortcuts on the keyboard unearth a normally buried option in Windows RT.
The bad: As a tablet, the device is too bulky and heavy to hold in your hands, and its Web performance is slow. A full Windows 8 version with updated specs will be available soon for only $150 more.
The bottom line: The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a great laptop alternative that's unfortunately too bulky to completely replace your tablet.
