>> Hi to you all! Brian Tong here at South by Southwest Interactive for CNET.com and here's a panel that we found that caught our attention. It was called "Everything I learned about accessibility, I learned from Star Wars." It caught our eye and Jedi Featherstone tells us what accessibility is all about.
>> They might be blind, they might not have full use of their hands, they might have auditory problems with their hearing, fine motor control problems, so all these things are issues for those people and so accessibility is about making websites and apps that work and accommodate some of those differences in abilities.
>> Derek talk about how to design websites more effectively and using Star Wars as a metaphor kept the audience engaged.
>> The sound effects, the video, you know, it's like he practically produced the movie for his session.
>> Accessibility traditionally is seen as a pretty boring topic and I've always, kind of make it my goal to go beyond the boring.
>> So it wasn't about dressing like a Jedi?
>> Well, that was just, say an added bonus.
>> May the force be with you. I'm Brian Tong, CNET.com ^M00:01:07 [ Music ]
