Stylus and pen together at last Video Transcript
I'm Scott Stein. This is some of my iPad art. Now, you don't need a pen or any sort of stylet to create art like this on an iPad. Just use your little finger. Ask something on it. Then again, there was a pretty big market for iPad stylet. Whey? Because the more art that you do on an iPad or any sort of capacity tablet like an Android Tablet, you probably wanna use something like a pen. Otherwise, the finger painting can get a little bit tiring. So, a lot of stylet on the market and one of the favorites that I saw last year was the Waycan bamboo stylet. A $30 stylet that had a nice aluminum barrel. The good feel to it and a nice rubber tip. Well, low and behold, Waycan has introduced the stylet duo for people who still like writing on regular pads with pens because it is a stylet with a pen on the end. Pretty obvious and pretty clever. This is $10 more than last years Waycan stylets and it's little bit larger to accommodate the size and feel of what a pen would be plus there's a refillable ink cartridge in here that works like any standard refillable ball point ink pen. I mean, it's not the most spectacular pen but it's a fine pen. It's got a little fine tip there. Does everything you think a pen would do and the other side here is a rubberized capacity stylet tip that works just like last years. Now, if anyone hasn't used a capacity stylet before, you might be a little thrown by the fact that it doesn't come to a sharp tip. It kinda replicates what your finger does and it has a soft touch but it doesn't have any pressure sensitivity because there is no pressure sensitivity stylet using the iPad, unlike what you see on the Samsung Galaxy Note but still, use the Waycan stylet and you'll find that that soft touch gives a lot more flexibility at least for me than my finger does. Although you'll notice that there's a little bit of a delay in most apps that's not quite like you would have when you put a pen to paper. Keep the cup off and I think it's a little too short for the pen but if you put the cap on the back, it feels perfect. Now, what's the feel on having a pen and stylet together, it's one of things you can carry on your bag. I mean, when you get your keyboard, your case, your shami, your stylet, it gets to be a lot of accessories for a device that was suppose to be pure and minimal and have no accessories. That was the whole idea behind the iPad in the first place but if you're an artist and if you find yourself using a lot of the great sketch apps that are on the iPad already, like paper and all these other programs then you might find yourself really getting in using one of these stylet and remember, this is not just for the iPad, it's for any capacity tablet or even something like a smart phone, you can just design an Android phone, you can use it on an iPhone, you can use it on an Android tablet. As long as it got that Capacity touch interphase then this will work just fine. I'm Scott Stein and that's a look at the Waycan Bamboo stylet duo.

Wacom Bamboo Stylus duo Review
The good: The Wacom Bamboo Stylus duo has pen and stylus features in a comfortable, weighted barrel; ink cartridges are easily replaced, and the stylus tip feels silky-smooth.
The bad: The pen cap needs to be on the back of the stylus to really feel good in the hand as a pen; $40 might be too much for some to pay.
The bottom line: Wacom's smooth, elegant stylus for capacitive tablets is one of the best we've seen, and adding a pen to the end only makes it more useful: just be prepared to pay an extra 10 dollars for the privilege.
