Store files with Amazon Cloud Drive Video Transcript

Hey. I'm Donald Bell and today I'm going to show you how upload files to the Cloud using Amazon's cloud drive desktop app. By Google drive or drop box. Amazon's cloud drive a lot of using store files online rather than on your local computer. Cloud drive isn't nearly feature rate with some of those other services at this time but if you wanna check out for yourself, here's how to get it started. To get the app first thing go over to download.com and search for Amazon Cloud Drive. If you (??) versions for both Mac and PC. After installing it you will be prompted to login with your Amazon account e-mail and password. If you don't have an account with Amazon you'll be given the option to create one. Once you signed in you'll see a cloud icon at the top of your screen, click it and you'll find an option that will take you to the cloud drive (say?) we can preview the contents of your online drive. By the phone you have full read this document, music, pictures and videos and upload a folder. It will also be created after you made your first upload using the app. There are two ways to do that. You need to drag and drop the file or collection of files right into the icon or you can right click on any file and select upload to cloud drive from the menu. (Switch?) noting on the Mac the right click option only appear after restarting the computer. To see your uploaded files head back over the Cloud Drive (say?). If you see another option here for uploading files on the left along with your newby added uploads folder click one on the folder and see it's contents. To download any item back down in your computer check on the box next the file name and hit the download button at the top. You can also move files between folders, for example if I want to move this word (dot?) from the upload folder into the document folder I'll check the box next to the file name, select move item from the more actions drop down menu and select the destination folder from the list. So that's how to use Amazon Cloud Drive quickly backing up files to the cloud. It's a free convenient tool from Amazon customers and hopefully a service will see integrated into more Amazon products in the future. If you have any clever use for cloud drive or if you have any question about the other topics, be sure to let me know on Twitter or on my Facebook page. CNET.com I'm Donald (??).
