Stallion: Majudo
Created: 01/31/2006
Video description: Our Long Awaited Infomercial is finally available! Majudo is a new art form invented by Stallion, it's sole practitioner. It is a blending of the ancient traditions of the Magical and Martial Arts: sleight of hand + lethal force = MAJUDO. Stallion is constantly pursuing new psycho-spiritual disciplines and neuro technologies for personal development and self discovery. This results in intriguing metaphorical applications in his performances. Stallion was bitten by the "magic bug" at an early age when his grandmother gave him a set of small red sponge balls which he began to master. When Stallion speaks of the "magic within", he refers to the innate powers of individuals, however dormant, to activate and realize their fondest heartfelt dreams. Again and again, albeit within the context of pure entertainment, he brings that out strongly and newly, excitingly inspires and empowers many.

"The Celestine Prophecy" trailer

Based on James Redfield's worldwide best-selling novel, "The Celestine Prophecy" is a spiritual adventure film chronicling the discovery of ancient scrolls in the rainforests of Peru. The prophecy and its nine key insights predict a worldwide awakening, arising within all religious traditions, that moves humanity toward a deeper experience of spirituality. "If we pay attention, we can find a greater life, no matter where we are, no matter who we are, no matter what our circumstances are. If you tune into the mysterious coincidences in your life, if you discover and then follow your intuitions, you will find that there's a door of opportunity for a greater life for you. You can't be a victim and do it, but if you go beyond that, if you find a way out of whatever circumstance you're in, whatever block you think you might face, what happens is that it works. It always works. The only thing that holds any of us back is not believing that it works." -- James Redfield

Morphing into 'Iron Woman'

When "Iron Man" is released on DVD on Tuesday, expect to find lots of behind-the-scenes footage of the making of this blockbuster. Some of the most captivating and fun technology used is motion capture, which CNET's Kara Tsuboi was all too eager to try out at Industrial Light & Magic's San Francisco headquarters. Watch as her special spandex suit helps her transform from reporter to "Iron Woman."

Super Furry Animals: "The Gift That Keeps On Giving"

On the way to diversifying their sound, Super Furry Animals have found a new focus. After calling off the search for meaning, they stumbled upon it by intuition and the power of magic. Of course, when a band has played together for 10 years there is bound to be an unspoken shared aesthetic, and this time around they've communed over decadence. As you'll see, Love Kraft is the sound of SFA maturation, with not a monsteriffic yeti, tank, or inflatable bear in sight.

The 404 403: Where we refuse to use the word penultimate

It's the penultimate episode before our 404th episode of The 404. Yes, the Internet will exploded when we run our live show tomorrow. Today's episode, though, might keep us from ever reaching that magic number. In our first half, we discuss our recollections of learning about the birds and the bees. In the second half, we have a great Calls from the Public section, and we mention Best Buy's latest snafu.
