Speaker 1: I'm Maggie (Rody?) with (??) and I'm here in New York City where (??) has just launched it's new app platform for it's music service. This new platform is going to be open to all developers and it will allow developers to create free apps that will reside within the (??) music service and today they had a whole bunch of partners that they're launching with. There's a (??), as well as Toon Wiki which is an app that let's you see lyrics as the song is playing and also the Rollingstone has a pretty cool app that could view playlist of songs that are created from their editorial team as well as some reviews of fans that you might be interested in and there are a whole bunch of other apps that they're gonna be launching with today and the whole idea is that more apps will be coming. They're very easy to find, there's a little app finder within the (??) app that's right on the left hand corner and all users have to do is click on that, then see you all the apps that come up and be able to select the ones that they want included in their profile. It's a really fun way to discover music and that's the whole point they say. We caught up with (??) head of product development here to get a little more insight into why (??) is moving in this direction and what does new app platform is able to do. For so, when are these new apps is gonna be available? Speaker 2: So this apps are gonna be available later today and a preview that you can download from (??).com and then we're gonna start rolling this apps all users next week probably. Speaker 1: Why do you think that (??) users actually needs all this different apps? This is quite a... a different turn for (??). Speaker 2: Well so, we rarely in (??) in contact with our users so we know what they (??). We have forums, we're very engaged on (??). And so we have a long list of request that they want, they say, you know, we want lyrics, we want editorial contents (??). So we really sat down and thought about, how do you (??)? Like, let's say you want editorial (content?) globally. We're trying to be a global service. So the (??) is to have the best of breed in each one to market, (do?) the application. Speaker 1: Now, for users of (??), how would they be able to access it? Like, will they be able to access it on just their computers at home or will they be able to access on an iPhone and iPad, other mobile devices? Speaker 2: So, initially we're starting on (??) with the computer home and we'll see what we go in the future. This is really early day for us but right now it's just that (stuff?). Speaker 1: One of the big questions I keep hearing from our readers is, when is (??) gonna have a dedicated iPad app? Can you tell us? Speaker 2: The old iPad question, you know, whatever I say, there's a follow up question, like what is (??). I have no comment for that today, unfortunately. Speaker 1: All right.
