>> I'm Nicole Lee, assistant editor for CNET.com and this is a first look at the Sound ID 300 Bluetooth headset. This looks very similar to the Sound ID Bluetooth headset right here, very similar form factor. The Sound ID 300 has the lone LED indicator on the front here. On the top here's a multi function call button. On the side is the volume key you use as a personal sounds key. We'll get to that later. On the back here is a real comfort ear gel, also very comfortable in the ear. You can change it either to the right or the left to fit either the right or the left ear. There's also an ear loop to fit around the folds of the ear. It also comes with 2 other different sizes of the ear gel to fit different sized ears. This is an optional ear hook for better stability. Sound ID the company, was founded by an ear doctor in Stanford University. So they really know their Bluetooth headsets. It's really comfortable in the ear; it also has pretty good sound quality as well thanks to the dual microphone noise cancellation due to the noise navigation technology. The Sound ID 300 is different from the Sound ID 200, because the 300 has something called personal sounds mode. For example there's the normal mode, the moderate mode, and the strong mode. It essentially increases or improves the speech intelligibility, depending on your listening preference. The Sound ID 300 Bluetooth headset is available for 120 dollars retail, but you can get it from AT and T wireless for only 100 dollars.
