Sony PSN's slow restart Video Transcript

It's Monday, May 16th, I'm Wilson Tang, and it's time to get loaded. Sony is finally bringing its online services to buckle to an end. On Sunday, the company started to restore PlayStation network services, but not without any hiccups. Gamers will be required to upgrade the PlayStation software to version 3.61 but they must also reset their passwords. RDV password reset requirement has cost Sony to halt the process as a flood of gamers paralyzed their password servers. Sony says that the company has added several enhancements to data security and promises the millions of PS endusers will be restored in the next few days. Research In Motion's Blackberry PlayBook was launched to poor reviews but there are some more salt to rub in the wound. The company has said that 1000 of the new PlayBook tablets have a glitch [unk] of the operating system. Tech website, Engadgets says that the faulty unites were shipped to Staples and a site published a set of serial numbers. Samsung has released competitors to Apple's ultra portable MacBook Air. This Samsung Series 9 laptops have 11.6-inch screen and features some hot new features like USB 3.0 and WiMax 4G. Like the Air, the Series 9 is carved of aluminum, has a solid-state hard drive and weighs less than 3 pounds. Nokia has announced it will be getting rid of its OV brand and instead the app store maps, mail, chat, and music services will now simply be called Nokia Services. The transition will begin in July across all countries and is expected to finish at the end of 2012. Netflix has scooped up another content deal for its Watch Instant new services. The company has announced a multi-year agreement to allow streaming of Miramax's extensive film library which includes titles like Pulp Fiction, The English Patient, and Kill Bill. Finally, the space shuttle Endeavor launched this morning. STS-134 seemed to have launched perfectly and marks the second to last launch of the venerable space shuttle program. The shuttle's commanded by Mark E. Kelly, the husband of representative Gabrielle Giffords. Those are your headlines for today. I'm Wilson Tang for CNET.com and you've just been loaded.
