>> Hi, I'm Kent German, senior editor here at CNET.com. Today, we're going to take a first look at the Sony Ericsson W200a. This is a new walkman phone. It is on lock, so it doesn't have a US carrier right now. This is a low-end walkman phone so it lacks a lot of the higher end features you might think should be there. There's no Bluetooth, there is an infrared port and [inaudible] VGA camera, and a really basic walkman player. But it still has the basic features you'd come to expect. Has a basic candy bar shape. This one's black, but it also comes in a couple of other colors. How about, pretty average display, it's not very high resolution, but it gets the job done. Below the display, we have a couple of soft keys, a back button, a clear button. Keypad buttons are a little scrunched but they're still a decent size and they are raised above the surface of the phone so they're pretty easy to use. Here on this side, we have a dedicated walkman button in bright orange, of course. And down here, we have the mic and the memory stick slot. On this side, all we have is a volume rocker and here on the back, we have the camera lens. There's no flash, there's no portrait mirror or anything like that. As I said, this is a low-end walkman phone, so if you want that music capability but don't want to pay a lot of money for a lot of the high-end features, could be the phone for you.
