>> Hi, I'm Josh Goldman, Senior Editor for CNET Reviews, and this is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC T900. 12 megapixel ultra compact camera. The stabilized 4X internal zoom lens behind it slide down lens cover. And a high-resolution 3-1/2 inch touch screen on back. Many of Sony' latest auto technologies in a body that's roughly 1/2 inch thick. The T900 has 4 auto shooting modes. So if you're into making a lot of shooting adjustments, isn't the camera for you. The program auto mode gives you the most control with ISO, white balance, focus, and light metering, open for changing. If you're more of a hand off shooter, Sony's intelligent auto delivered reliable results as it picks from 8 scene types, turns on face detection and image stabilization. The T900 is very fast camera for it's class with a start up time just over a second, and a similar shot to shot time. Be careful how often you press that shutter though, the tiny battery only lasts for about 200 shots. Considering its $380 price tag, the photo quality will no doubt disappoint some users. Photos are good for a snapshot camera, but if you're expecting better quality, because of the higher price tag, don't. I'm Josh Goldman, and that's the look at the Sony Cyber-shot T900. ^E00:01:24

Sony Cyber-shot T900 (silver) Review
The good: Fast performance; excellent design, LCD; optical zoom works in movie mode.
The bad: Short battery life; photo quality merely OK for the money; touch-screen not for everyone.
The bottom line: Though some will be disappointed by its photo quality, the barely there, high-tech Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is a very good ultracompact camera.
