>> Hi, I'm Will Greenwald, Assistant Editor at CNET.com. This is our look at the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 digital camera. This is the highest end model of the sony Cyber-shot DS-80W series of cameras, which is there low end mostly automated point and shoot series. This 7 megapixel camera has the same lens, sensor and most of the same features as its predecessors, the Cyber-shot W35 and W55, but otherwise it's an interestingly different camera. It has the home menu system, which is very similar to the Playstation portable menu system and is actually a lot different from any system we've seen on any other camera so far. That's why it has this extra button besides menu which lets you access the deeper settings of the digital camera. It also has an optical image stabilization mode so you can shoot a little bit further and a little bit darker without having as much blur but otherwise it seems like a fairly simple 7 megapixel point and shoot camera. It has an interesting finish, a cool menu system, which might be seen in future versions of Sony Cyber-shot cameras but otherwise it just rests pretty firmly on the high end of the W series of Cyber-shot cameras. Shooting and performance, it works pretty well and honestly if you're just looking for a simple snapshot camera that you don't have to worry about too much but gives you some options to work with and you're willing to spend a little bit more than 200 bucks, the DSC-W80 is a pretty good choice. I'm Will Greenwald and this is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80. [ Music ]
