>> Brian Tong: Brian Tong here at CES 2010 and I'm here with the Sony Cybershot DSCTX7. This is part of their T series you guys have known it for its really thin, sleek design and also the touch panel back. This is gonna be a 3.5 inch high res touch screen panel so it looks really great when you navigate the menus and everything. Also this is gonna be a 10 megapixel camera, a 4x optimal zoom and also is gonna support 1080 P video. You'll also get the features that you've known with the panorama stitch mode that Sony taughted last year. This is a really killer feature you kind of move the camera across and then it puts together a great panorama image. It's also gonna have the auto HDR function where it takes 2 pictures, kind of stitches them together and gives you the best image possible. This is gonna sell for 399 sometime around February. We'll look to see it around then. I'm Brian Tong CNET at CES 2010.
At CES 2010, Brian Tong shows us Sony's new Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V.
Brian Tong takes a First Look at Sony's new 'wireless' digital camera.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9 is a great digital camera if you primarily shoot outdoors in daylight, especially sports, children, and animals.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W290 is an excellent, well-balanced compact camera.
For the price, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 and W55 digital cameras offers very good performance and image quality.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 sits on the top of the budget digital camera heap with a shiny new interface, fast performance, and great pictures.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 digital camera, which has a touch screen, is an update to the T100, but it otherwise fails to live up its predecessor.
Sony's legacy of powerful ultracompact touch-screen cameras lives on in the Cyber-shot DSC-TX66.
Part smart-looking snapshot camera, part 4GB portable digital photo album, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 will satisfy those who like showing off their pictures as much as they like taking them.
Though some will be disappointed by its photo quality, the barely there, high-tech Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 is a very good ultracompact camera.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 (Blue) Review
The good: Speedy shooting performance; slim, stylish design; plenty of fun, useful features; very good low-light photo quality for its class.
The bad: Soft photos, videos; poor battery life.
The bottom line: The fast-shooting Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7 is a slick, feature-laden ultracompact, but its price doesn't guarantee perfection.
