>> Hi, I'm Will Greenwald, assistant editor of CNET.com. And this is the Sony Cyber Shot DSCP100 digital camera. Like the previous Cyber Shot T models, this is the same signature sliding lens cover, which helps protect the lens and just looks pretty stylish. It's an all metal body. Has a 5x zoom lens and it an 8 mega pixel sensor. And generally improves over the previous, the DSCT10 in essentially every way. It has a nice big 3 inch LCD that you can actually look at from almost any angle. The colors won't distort and if you can see the screen a little, you'll be able to make out the shapes. And it has Sony Steady Shot optimal image stabilization, so even if you zoom in all the way, you're not going to get as much shake and blur. It also has some nice on board software features. It has in camera image editing, so you can take out red eye through its software. You can add a couple different filters and neat little special effects. And you can play a slide show straight to your TV with MP3s you can load onto this camera. It doesn't play MP3s alone, you have to sort of play a slide show and output it to a television. But it's a neat little feature if you want to share your photos with friends. It also has a high quality standard definition video mode that lets you take 640 by 480 video at 30 frames per second. And it's pretty nice video. It performance nice and fast. The shutter is very responsive and you're not going to wait much more than a second and a half in between shots. And the photos just look really nice when you print them out or see them on TV or just share them with people. This is a really nice camera with good features and good performance and that's why we're giving it a CNET Editor's Choice. I'm Will Greenwald and this is the Sony Cyber Shot DSCP100. ^M00:01:53 [ Music ]

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 (silver) Review
The good: Great photos; relatively fast performance; above-average features for its class, including 5x zoom lens and nine-point autofocus
The bad: Buttons are a little small; no optical viewfinder.
The bottom line: The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 is a slim point-and-shoot whose generous feature set, great photos, and quick performance make it an excellent choice for a pocket camera.
