>> What's up guys. Brian Tong here with CNET.com at CES2009. I have first look here at the Sony Cybershot G3. Now, this is a 10 mega pixel camera. It has four gigs of internal storage and a nice 3.5 inch touch screen on the back. But what really makes a difference is its wi-fi capability. Now, you do have a wi-fi chip in here, but what another thing is cool is it has web browser functionality. Now, that doesn't' mean you can surf the web, but what it does is it makes it really easy to connect to multiple wireless sites. You know some of them are password protected, so it's hard to get into it. This makes it easy to do. Now, this camera sleek design is black. Has a nice kind of classy finish on it. Though it's a decent camera, the Sony Cyber-shot G3's Wi-Fi implementation is a disappointment, and makes the camera overpriced relative to nonwireless models, including its better designed but otherwise similar sibling, the DSC-T700.

Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-T20 is a stylish, solidly built camera with quick performance and pleasing image quality at lower ISO settings.

The good: Surprisingly speedy; 4GB internal memory.
The bad: Wi-Fi is slow and difficult to use; touch screen is occasionally nonresponsive; poor battery life.
The bottom line: Though it's a decent camera, the Sony Cyber-shot G3's Wi-Fi implementation is a disappointment, and makes the camera overpriced relative to nonwireless models, including its better designed but otherwise similar sibling, the DSC-T700.
