>> I'm Dan Ackerman, and we are here at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco. We're here at the Big Sony Press Conference where, as we all expected, they announced the Sony motion controller. They briefly showed up last year at the E3 Video Game Expo. Well, they announced it's called the "PlayStation Move," and much like that Nintendo Wii controller, it's a wand that you hold in your hand. It's got a little light-up ball on it, and you can either use one controller along with the PlayStation iWeb cam, or you can use two controllers, or you can use one controller with a secondary controller, kind of like a Nintendo Wii nunchuk, that they call a sub-controller, a little bit of a weird name there. So we saw a bunch of examples of people playing games with the PlayStation Move. There were some fighting games. There were some sports games. There were some family games. And then we got a chance to get our hands on it ourselves, and we tried a shooting game, going through a subway system shooting some aliens, and there are plenty of other game demos available here. And they're going to let the public in soon to try out "God of War 3," another big Sony game that's coming out in March. And this is just another entry in that movement, that gaming movement sweepstakes. So you're going to have the Nintendo Wii, you're going to have Microsoft with their Natal project, and now you've got Sony with the PlayStation Move. Everybody's getting into the movement game. I'm Dan Ackerman at Game Developers Conference 2010. ^M00:01:14 [ Music ]
