Two entertainers who always really impressed me over the years were Elvis Presley and another whom I finally got to meet in person, Mr. Mickey Newbury. Mickey was one of the finest poets I've ever known. Oh, Rod McKuen still rules; don't get me wrong, but when it comes to expressing how things can go in relationships, at times, Mickey took the prize.
