SF IndieFest trailer: "Jimmy and Judy"
Welcome to American suburbia, a place where the image of the ?perfect family? is so meticulously cultivated that friends, neighbors, even the closest of family, have no idea what truly lies beneath the surface.
For JIMMY (Edward Furlong), a hyper-intelligent, college dropout, exposing the truth is something he does only by accident. He?s obsessed with his handheld video camera which he uses to tape anything and everything in his life, playing God with the lens. He manipulates his parents, their friends, even his therapist, entirely for his own amusement. There are even rumors that Jimmy was expelled from college because he talked his roommate into committing suicide on camera.
Things take a turn when Jimmy refocuses his attentions on JUDY (Rachael Bella) a timid ing?nue who?s constantly bullied at school. Hoping to gain her affections, he exacts revenge upon her enemies at school, taping himself in the act. When Judy sees it, she quickly falls in love with her passionate protector, and the two become entangled in a whirlwind romance.
Exploring sex, drugs, gunplay, even petty theft, the two fall desperately in love, videotaping everything they do, but their escalating antics inevitably lead to disaster. After a freak roadside accident and a desperate encounter with the cops, Jimmy and Judy find themselves on the run from the law and are forced to seek refuge in the underbelly of America just to survive.
JIMMY AND JUDY is a film that highlights what Middle America so desperately tries to hide?mental illness, violence, sexual perversions, drug abuse, and family dysfunction?all captured entirely on HOME VIDEO by two misfit teenagers who fall in love while rampaging their way across the country in search of an elusive teenage nirvana.

Haley is a young stripper in a world of drugs, prostitution, and violence. Her boyfriend J.J. is a petty thug tired of nickel and diming his way through life. With a huge payoff in mind, he forces Haley to seduce a strip club patron named Big Game James. An ambush quickly follows, but it all goes bad and ends with J.J. bludgeoning James. He takes the phone, a .38 revolver, and Big Game's black 1964 Chevy Impala. Now a wanted man, J.J. slips on his black sunglasses to protect himself from the hostile elements and proceeds to drag Haley down the sleazy streets, past the trashy joints to the scuzziest depths of the City by the Bay.
Haley meets a lonely cab driver named Mark and sees a possible way out of her desperate situation, while J.J. grows even more reckless and destructive. Meanwhile, Big Game James (who was terribly forked over) staggers back upright, and covers himself with bandages. Thinking of nothing but revenge, the bloodied mummified thug embarks on his quest for revenge on the couple who let him live.

"Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" trailer
In the great cinematic tradition of "Road Trip" and "Dude, Where's My Car?" comes "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," which follows two likeable underdogs who set out on a Friday night quest to satisfy their craving for White Castle hamburgers and end up on an epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild road trip as un-PC as it gets. John Cho ("American Pie" 1 & 2) and Kal Penn ("Malibu's Most Wanted") take on the title roles in the film directed by Danny Leiner ("Dude, Where's My Car?") written by Hayden Schlossberg & Jonathan Hurwitz.
A one-time tennis pro, Chris Wilton (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) was used to falling just short in his life. But when he befriends Tom Hewett (Matthew Goode) and marries his sister, Chloe (Emily Mortimer), the doors are opened to the kind of money and success that Chris has once only dreamed of. Chris should have settled for happiness, but he is torn by his attraction to Tom's impossibly beautiful and sensual fiance, Nola (Scarlett Johansson). The attraction turns to an obsession that forces Chris to make a critical choice. Now everything in his life hinges on if Chris falls short again...and whether or not his luck runs out. "Match Point" is a drama about ambition, the seduction of wealth, love, and sexual passion. Perhaps most importantly, however, the story reveals the huge part luck plays in events, refuting the comforting misconception that more of life is under our control than really is.
