MobileMe is the name for the old Dot Mac and what it can do now that it's got the new name, is sync you calendar, your contacts, and your E-mail from the cloud to your devices like you iPhone with the new 2.0 firm ware. Here's how to make sure it's setup correctly on your laptop. Make sure the information you want synced for MobileMe is selected and then sync your iPhone. Then go to system preferences, mine still says Dot Mac, yours might say MobileMe. Select Sync and make sure that the information you want synced for MobileMe to your iPhone is selected.
