>> Hey what's up guys, it's Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008. We've had a chance to get outside of the convention floor and I'm standing next to Boss; it's a partnership between Carnegie Mellon's Tartan racing team and General Motors. Now if you look up here you can see an array of cameras and sensors that allow this car to self-drive. There's no one inside; it can just do it on its own so we're gonna go jump inside and take a ride. ^M00:00:24 [ Music ] ^M00:00:28
>> So what you guys are seeing is a layout on a Jared laptop and what it does is using sensors it can detect stop signs; it can also see oncoming traffic and calculate a route from that point. Now you also see these two garbage cans. Boss is actually navigating itself; we're not doing a thing because its sensors can see all those. ^M00:00:45 [ Music ] ^M00:00:52
>> So there you go. We've been self-driven by a car with sensors. How right is that? I'm Brian Tong with CNET here at CES 2008. The Boss is good. ^M00:01:01 [ Music ] ^M00:01:04
