Say hello to the massive LG Optimus G Pro Video Transcript
Hello, everybody! It's Lynn La from CNET and today I have with me an unlocked LG Optimus G Pro. Now, as you can see, the device is big; and it lands right in the middle of that tablet-phone hybrid territory. Unlike LG's last fray into the phablet market with the LG Intuition, however, the G Pro screen has the much more common 16x9 aspect ratio instead of the 4x3. The 5.5-inch full HD IPS display also has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and 400ppi. It's powered by a very zippy 1.7 Gigahertz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and a 3.14 ampere-hour battery. Above the display is a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera; and on the back, there's a 13-megapixel camera that's capable of recording 1080p full HD video. The camera also has a dual-recording feature that lets you record with both cameras simultaneously, so you could film something and your reaction to it at the same time. This 4G LTE-enabled handset also runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, has 2 Gigs of RAM, a microSD card slot that's expandable up to 32 Gigs, and NFC. Some software and UI features include LG's note-taking app QuickMemo, which the phone has a shortcut key on the left side; and QSlide, LG's multi-tasking feature, that is now resizable. Now, unfortunately, the G Pro won't come with a stylus, but it does have wireless charging capabilities if you buy a separate wireless charging back plate from LG. The phone launches in Korea this month but it will make its way to North America in the second quarter. Again, I'm Lynn, and you've been checking out the LG Optimus G Pro.

LG Optimus G Pro (unlocked) Review
The good: The LG Optimus G Pro packs a sharp and crisp display, a blazing Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, and Android Jelly Bean.
The bad: The Optimus G Pro's hefty size can be cumbersome to handle and it doesn't come with a stylus.
The bottom line: Though it lacks a stylus and it won't fit everyone's lifestyle, the LG Optimus G Pro's beautiful touch screen and ultrafast CPU do this handset justice.
