Save YouTube videos with Kiss Video Transcript

>> What's going on everyone, I'm Jeff Bakalar for CNET.com. So you've found the funniest video in the world and you wanna keep a copy of it on your hard drive before YouTube is forced to take it off its server because it used the copyright and prints off. We've all been there before. Well, before you start downloading a Firefox extension or an Internet Explorer plug-in, here's a Quick Tip on downloading any YouTube video. Just go to the URL and type in Kiss just before youtube.com. You will be taken to a page where with just a click of mouse you can download the entire Flash video format file. From there you have to convert the file on your own, but you'll always have a copy of it on your hard drive. You can also play that Flash video file with the VLC Media Player which is available online for free. I'm Jeff Bakalar for CNET.com, thanks for watching. ^M00:00:53 [ Music ]
