>> I'm Nicole Lee, assistant editor at CNET.com and this is the Sanyo SCP 7050 for Sprint. It's a pretty bulky phone as you can see but it is military spec which means it's very rugged. It can withstand sort of harsh weather conditions like dessert or a rain storm. On the front here pretty basic black, very hefty in weight and size. On the front here you get a simple monochrome display, on the side you get a volume rocker and a voice memo button and the hits so chuck [ assumed spelling - could not understand speaker ]. I'll put it up. You get pretty decent screen for a basic phone like this. We like that the keys are all really easy to press they're all sort of nice and rounded and sort of a slight bump above the surface, so they're really easy to dial by feel. On the top here you can see an extendable antenna for better reception. As far as features go, this phone has built in GPS and also a TeleNav application in the phone which gives you driving directions and simple GPS functionality to let you know where you are and how to get to your destination. Other features of the phone include access to Sprint Vision, email, instant messaging, text and multi user messaging, web browsing, a speaker phone and Blue Tooth. Pretty basic features but if you want a really rugged phone with GPS built in, this could be the phone for you. My name is Nicole Lee and this is the Sanyo SCP 7050. ^M00:01:25 [ Music ]
