>> I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor for CNET.com, coming to you from CTIA 2009 in Las Vegas. This is a first look at the Sanyo STP2700 from Sprint. As you can see, it is a very simple candy bar messaging phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The screen is a very simple two inch wide display here. The QWERTY keyboard's very easy to type on, the keys are very raised above the surface here. It has a dedicated text messaging key on the front. On the back is a 1.3 megapixel camera. Features of the phone include text messaging of course, they also have [inaudible] text messaging, you can also get mobile email on here from AOL, G-Mail, Hotmail, and so forth. You can also get your work email on here via Microsoft Exchange Active Sync. It also has GPS, a music player, and stereo Bluetooth. Probably the highlight of this phone is that it will be available only twenty nine ninety nine with a two year service agreement from Sprint, which is probably one of the cheapest messaging phones out there. The Sanyo STP2700 will be available starting May 10th. I'm Nicole Lee, this has been the first look at the Sanyo STP2700 from Sprint.
